ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was established in the year 1992 to impart Diploma Level Education. The Govt. of Puducherry has up-graded the Diploma level into Degree level institution with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi from the academic year 2022-23 onwards. The undergraduate degree course offered by the department provides a comprehensive foundation in the core topics of ECE coupled with areas of specialization relevant to emerging engineering challenges.

• To impart technical knowledge, and training to students in the field of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
• To provide a stimulating environment for the academic growth of students.
• To inculcate a spirit of scientific temper, analytical thinking and train the students in contemporary technologies in Electronics & Communication to meet the needs of the industry
